Do you offer IV therapies like NAD+, hyperbaric oxygen or ozone with my treatment?
Yes. We offer complementary therapies that can be added to your stem cell treatment during the same visit, including NAD+ IV infusions, other IV drips and sessions in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
Some treatment plans already include NAD+ or a hyperbaric session, and in other plans they can be added for an additional fee. Ozone applications are evaluated case by case, for example for some spine conditions. Our approach is to focus first on treating the root of the problem with your stem cell application, and then to add complementary therapies when the doctor considers that they add value to your plan, based on your medical questionnaire and assessment. Ask your advisor which options your doctor recommends for you.
Many patients who research regenerative medicine also read about NAD+, hyperbaric oxygen and other wellness therapies, and they want to know whether they can combine them with their treatment. This guide explains what each therapy is, how we use it, how it fits into your visit and how the doctor decides whether to include it.
Our approach to complementary therapies
In the answers we give to our patients, we explain it this way: we focus on treating the root of the problem, for example with a direct injection of stem cells where they are needed. Complementary therapies can then be added, based on your medical questionnaire and the doctor's assessment. The goal is not to add as many therapies as possible, but to use what is appropriate for your condition and goals.
NAD+ IV therapy
What it is
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule present in every cell of the body. It plays a central role in how cells produce energy and in many processes related to cell maintenance and repair. NAD+ levels tend to decline with age, which is one reason it has attracted interest in healthy aging.
How we use it
- NAD+ is administered through an IV infusion.
- In some of our treatment plans, NAD+ is included to help prepare your body for the stem cells and PRP, supporting cellular energy and recovery.
- It is often given on your arrival day, after your consultation, as a separate IV drip.
- If it is not included in your plan, it can be added for an additional fee.
What to expect
The infusion is given slowly while you rest. Some people feel warmth, flushing, mild chest tightness or nausea if the infusion is too fast, which is why it is given gradually and monitored by the nursing team.
Other IV drips
We also offer other IV drips that can be added during your visit, according to the doctor's recommendation, such as:
- Vitamin C
- Glutathione
- Myers cocktail (B vitamins, minerals and other nutrients)
- Anti-aging formula (B vitamins, amino acids and minerals)
- Immune support formula (vitamin C, selenium and zinc)
The doctor reviews your health and medications before recommending any IV drip. Your advisor can send you the options and prices.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
What it is
In hyperbaric oxygen therapy, you breathe close to 100% oxygen inside a chamber pressurized above normal atmospheric pressure. According to MedlinePlus, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the higher pressure increases the amount of oxygen in the blood and helps deliver oxygen to tissues. The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) describes it as a primary treatment for some conditions and an adjunct to other treatments in others. In medicine, it is used for conditions such as non-healing wounds, some infections, carbon monoxide poisoning and decompression sickness.
How we use it
- Some of our plans include one session of hyperbaric chamber during your visit.
- In other plans, a session can be added for an additional fee, usually on your arrival day.
- The doctor recommends it when it fits your goals, for example as part of a plan focused on recovery and wellness.
What to expect
- You rest inside the chamber during the session.
- You may feel pressure in your ears, similar to what you feel when flying or diving. It usually resolves after the session.
- Tell the team if you have ear or sinus problems, lung disease, claustrophobia or recent ear surgery, since these can affect whether the chamber is appropriate for you.
Ozone
Ozone applications are evaluated case by case. For example, for some spine conditions, the doctor may recommend an ozone application in a specific area during the same visit as your stem cell treatment. In the explanations we share with patients, we describe that combining these therapies may help support the regenerative process by promoting hydration of the discs and helping reduce pressure in the affected area. Your advisor will tell you whether it is part of your recommended plan.
Other add-ons
- PRP: platelet-rich plasma is included in our joint treatments and can also be used on its own or as a follow-up.
- Exosomes: can be added to some plans, by IV infusion, nebulization, microneedling or injection, when the doctor considers that they add value.
- IV stem cell infusion: patients receiving a joint or spine treatment can add an IV infusion to support the body's overall inflammatory response.
When an add-on may not be appropriate
The doctor reviews your health before recommending any complementary therapy. Tell the team if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have heart failure or kidney disease, since IV fluids and some IV formulas need careful planning.
- Have lung disease, a history of collapsed lung, ear or sinus problems or recent ear surgery, which are important before a hyperbaric session.
- Feel very anxious in closed spaces, which matters for the hyperbaric chamber.
- Take medications that could interact with an IV formula.
- Have allergies to vitamins, supplements or other components.
In these situations, the doctor may adjust the plan, choose a different option or recommend skipping the add-on. Your safety comes first, and a complementary therapy is never required for your stem cell treatment.
How add-ons fit into your visit
| Day | Possible add-ons |
|---|---|
| Arrival day | NAD+ or other IV drips, hyperbaric chamber session, after your tests and consultation |
| Treatment day | Your stem cell application, with PRP or exosomes when included |
| During your stay | As recommended by the doctor |
Scheduling add-ons on your arrival day keeps your treatment day focused on the stem cell application and recovery.
Timing and safety
Some therapies, supplements and medications can affect your treatment if they are done too close to the stem cell application. This is why every add-on is reviewed by the doctor and scheduled by the team. Do not schedule outside IV therapies, ozone or other procedures elsewhere around your treatment without telling us first.
Regulatory note
Complementary therapies such as NAD+ IV infusions are used in wellness and integrative medicine. Patients should know that their use for wellness or anti-aging purposes is not an FDA-approved indication in the United States. The doctor recommends them as part of your plan when appropriate, and results vary between patients.
How to add a therapy to your plan
- Tell your advisor which therapies you are interested in.
- The doctor reviews your questionnaire, history and goals.
- You receive an updated quote with the added therapies and their cost.
- The team schedules each therapy during your visit.
Common questions
Is NAD+ included in my plan? Some plans include it. Your written plan lists everything included.
Can I add a hyperbaric session? Yes, in most cases. Ask your advisor, and the doctor will confirm whether it is appropriate for you.
Do I need these therapies for my stem cells to work? No. The core of your treatment is the stem cell application. Complementary therapies are optional and are recommended when they add value.
Can I do NAD+ or hyperbaric sessions at home after treatment? Ask the doctor during your follow-up before starting any new therapy.
Are add-ons safe with my medications? The doctor reviews your medication list before recommending any IV drip or session.
Questions to ask your advisor
- Which complementary therapies does the doctor recommend for me?
- Is NAD+ or a hyperbaric session included in my plan?
- What is the cost of adding them?
- When will they be scheduled during my visit?
Bottom line
We offer NAD+ IV infusions, other IV drips and hyperbaric oxygen sessions that can be included in or added to your plan, and ozone applications evaluated case by case. The core of your treatment is the stem cell application, and the doctor recommends complementary therapies when they add value for your condition and goals. A medical evaluation can help determine whether this type of regenerative treatment is appropriate for your condition, goals and medical history.
